On Wednesday, March 8th, members of the Safe Communities Humboldt & Area Advisory Committee along with over 40 others from the area gathered to review our priorities. A meeting of this kind is very important for us to ensure that our limited resources are being utilized in the best places possible and also to ensure our good standing with Parachute, our parent organization. Once again, we are very pleased with the results of this meeting. All of our current priorities will remain in tact and we will add another priority in the area of technology and Internet safety.
Involved organizations included local emergency service organizations, the Saskatoon Health Region, the Horizon School Division, the Greater Saskatoon School Division, area RM's, Towns and Villages, PotashCorp, community members, and many other area not-for-profits. Randy Robinson, a Community Developer with the Saskatoon Health Region facititated this event
