2014 Bike Rodeo & Safety Day
Bicycle Rodeo & Safety Day brought to you by BHP Billition & Safe Communities Humboldt & Area
Thank you to everyone who made our Bicycle Safety Rodeo and Safety Day on JUNE 21st, 2014 a huge sucess! This project was a partnership between the BHP Billiton Community Engagement Team and Safe Communities Humboldt & Area and was held in the Humboldt Curling Rink.
A huge thank you to the following:

BHP Billiton who provided free helmets to the first 200 children under 13 in attendance as well as 2 Youth sized bikes which were raffled off as well as water, juice and donuts for everyone in attendance!

the Humboldt & district Ambulance Service, Humboldt Fire Department and Humboldt RCMP for manning the Bicycle Safety Check, and all three bicycle obstacle courses

ABI – Brain Walk (interactive station’s that walk kids through the brain and teaches them how to keep their brain safe and healthy)

Safe Saskatchewan – Rebecca’s Trail interactive stations

Sask Prevention Institute – display booth

Universal Sports for supplying five bikes for children to use in case they haven't brought their own

the City of Humboldt for providing the facility and supplies
